If you’ll be traveling during the holidays and camping at a resort, campground, or the driveway of friends or family, make the most of New Year’s Eve with fun and entertainment.
For starters, decorate your recreational vehicle inside and out with festive sparkling lights. If you have an awning, line it with lights, too. Purchase or make your own holiday wreath for the front door and place a “happy holidays” welcome mat for guests.
Inside your RV, the skies the limit by adding accessories such as decorative poinsettias – real or artificial – scented potpourri and candles, and seasonal music.
Plan a get-together on New Year’s Eve with a buffet of easy to prepare items such as finger sandwiches, chili, chips and dip or order several pizzas and wings. Pass out party favors including hats and noisemakers and at midnight, have some mistletoe hanging at several locations around the RV.
Tuen the TV to one of the major New Year’s Eve parties being celebrated around the world and set off sparklers and firecrackers – if allowed – and ring in the New Year with a bang at the magic hour.
When it comes to New Year’s resolutions, make those you know you have the best chance of completing. Make them fun, make them serious, or make them thoughtful but whatever you do, don’t make them stressful.
